How does licensing work?
Sign in with your email (magic link, no password). Each VS Code install links to your account. Buy Pro once and all your machines — work laptop, home desktop — get it automatically.
How do you bill?
Monthly or annually (two months free). Prices shown in USD. Checkout via Paddle in your local currency with any required tax/VAT. Cancel anytime — your plan runs until the end of the billing period.
I'm a student or OSS maintainer. Do I need Pro?
No. Students and maintainers of public, OSI-licensed projects can stay on Free. If your situation doesn't fit neatly, reach out — we'll do our best to keep you on Free.
